Jesus models for us the perfect example of love by extending forgiveness to undeserving people, displaying compassion to the oppressed, and serving those who should have served him. He sacrificed His own life so that others could live. That is the perfect example of love.
Jesus then shifted the paradigm of how our world operates. He said, “As I have loved you, so must you love one another.” From that moment forward, the standard of how we treat one another was set, love was redefined, and we were given a purpose to live for.

So why should anyone listen to Jesus? It’s very simple. Jesus did what no one else in history has ever done. He predicted His own death and resurrection, AND PULLED IT OFF! Why would you not follow Him and accept everything He says as truth?
